The Tenpenny Villages Benefice of Alresford, Elmstead and Frating with Thorrington

Over the weekend of 29th & 30th April Thorrington Hall Woods Where open to the Public with kind permission from Gibbon Farms.

With walking thought the woods on a long or short walk you was able to see a carpet of blue bell’s under the tree’s which are all natural.

The woods where open from 11am – 3pm both days with refreshments serviced in the barn near the entrance to the woods, where also you could see what was going on in Thorrington church & purchase a ticket for the prize draw.

All the money rasied over the weekend went to Church funds, our thanks goes to;-

Mr Gibbon for letting the woods be open,

Mr Jinks for manning the woods & all his hard work,

Miss Ramsey, Mrs Sadlter, Mrs Clarke, Miss Clarke, Mrs Willis, Mrs Coham & Mrs Rawlings for helping with the refreshments. Over £700 was raised over the two days.
