Evening Services

From September 2011 we begin our new pattern of evening services:

First Sunday - Communion & Healing 6.30pm: A quieter, more meditative service with opportunity for healing prayer at the communion rail after communion or for more extended prayer at the end if wished. Themes this term from the various wisdom books of the Old Testament.

Second Sunday - Food for Thought 6.30pm: A more informal time beginning with coffee & cake, then reflective worship using visual images & an extended teaching time with opportunity to interact with the speaker. Themes this term on mature discipleship.

Third Sunday - Tea-time Service 3.30pm : A 30-40 minute communion service with sermon & traditional hymns followed by sit down afternoon tea.

                           -  Focus on Prayer 6.30pm : A very quiet, reflective space. Taize or prayerful reflections.

Fourth Sunday - ‘Work in Progress’ Youth Service 6.30pm : For the young and young at heart - not quiet!!
